Skeb-Like or 'Surprise me' commission is where you pay what you want and I get to pick what you get!You send me a brief overview of what you want and I draw whatever I think of. No updates will be given and no revisions will be made. The style you get will be reflected in how much you pay! It'll literally be a surprise!$25 is the minimum. The more you pay, the more polished/detailed/etc the commission will be!

COMMISSION TERMS OF SERVICE

Please carefully read the following Terms of Service. By commissioning me, you acknowledge and understand that you have read the TOS and agree to it.
I. GENERAL
I reserve the right to refuse/drop service at my own discretion. Possible reasons include:
- Behaving disrespectfully in our correspondence- Demanding excessive and unreasonable discounts- Failure to respond to requests (not answering emails, not paying on time, etc)- If there is no reply to outreach correspondence within two weeks, your commission will be paused and moved to the end of the work list.- A mutual agreement to drop the order. A partial refund will be given depending on the amount of work already done- You ask me to draw something I do not support- I decide to stop working on your commission due to other outstanding circumstances in which case a refund will be discussed.
Things I will NOT draw:
- Any sort of hateful content such as, but not limited to: racism, transphobia, homophobia, etc.- Anthro- Most animals- Explicit NSFW (soft core is fine, but we can discuss this!)- Heavy mech and armor (I can do most armor and mech, but that can be discussed further in email.)
II. PAYMENT & FEES
- Full payment is due up front. I am willing to do half now half later, but we can discuss that.- In certain circumstances, partial (half) payment can be paid to secure a place in the commission queue. I will not begin work until full payment is received. Please discuss this directly with me to arrange.- The prices above are BASE prices and based on how complex your image is, I will charge accordingly.- Payment is done through PayPal or Square invoice in USD.- A rush fee will be charged if applicable- A research and design fee will be charged for clients with no reference images.- Additional fees will be charged for excessive or major revisions (please see “Revisions” below).- The exact prices for the fees described above will be calculated depending on the complexity and circumstances.
III. HOW TO ORDER

- Be professional and courteous throughout the commission process.- Carefully read through the ToS and Commission Information.- Provide me with your payment email address so I can draft your invoice.- Provide a clear and straightforward commission detailing what you want. Include all necessary links and reference images in the first initial email.- Let me know if you are on a deadline. A rush fee will be charged if applicable.- Doodles and sketch of your own is GREAT! Please don’t be afraid to send me your own art even if it’s stick figures. Visual aid is great especially if you already have a clear image in mind.- DO NOT put images in word documents. If you do, please provide the same image and label it appropriately in a zip or image hosting site.- A bullet point list of everything you want is easier for me to understand personally, but if you already have a premade write up document or anything, that’s fine too!- Respond in a timely fashion. If I do not hear from you in 2 weeks, I will put you back in line and go to the next commission. You WILL have to wait your turn again.- Understand that you need to provide clear and exact references and descriptions to me so I can properly do your commission.- Pay your invoice in a timely manner. I will prompt you a total of 3 times for payment if you do not pay your invoice within a week. If you do not pay after the 3rd prompt, I will drop your commission completely and you will need to submit a new request when I am next open for commissions.- Contact me STRICTLY by email when talking about your commission. I DO NOT answer DMs, tweets, or replies anywhere about your commission (EX: twitter, instagram, etc)
IV. HOW IT WORKS
- I will draw your art either at A4 paper size (8.5*11 inch), as we agreed upon, or as I see fit. You can request other dimensions as well if needed, but will be charged more if significantly large (EX: 18x24 inch).- If you require a print ready file, additional charges will apply.- I will send over a sketch for approval before continuing the commission.
[ ! ] At this stage you are allowed TWO free edits/revisions. Additional revisions will be charged and calculated on a case by case basis, so be sure to carefully look at the sketch and properly convey your edits.
- I will show you the line art before coloring.- Progress will be sent to you as I work.- Once I am done, I will show you a small screenshot of the piece. If you require an edit, you will be charged an amount for the edit based on the complexity of your edit. If it's something I missed that you mentioned previously, it will be free!- I will always do my best to complete your commission within a reasonable time. If delays happen, I will always email you and let you know!- I work on commissions in order of who paid first.- I work on commissions Monday through Friday.- I answer emails Monday through Friday.
V. REVISIONS
- You are allowed TWO free edits at the SKETCH stage. Additional edits after the two edits will be charged and calculated on a case by case basis.- Excessive minor revisions AFTER the approved sketch will be charged.- Revisions that are needed because I missed something you clearly conveyed are free.- SIGNIFICANT edits or revision will be charged and calculated on a case by case basis.- If it's something you mentioned previously and I missed it, it will be free the first time.- You acknowledge that additional charges will be calculated by my own discretion.
VI. COPYRIGHT & USAGE POLICY
- I, the artist (Syn), retain the full rights over the commissioned works.- I can post your art (or not) on my personal social media, website, or portfolio- You can post your commission (or not) with PROPER credits and links back to myself where possible.- I can stream, record, or upload videos of the creation of the artwork. I can lock it behind my patreon.- Any characters portrayed in the commissioned work remain copyrighted to their rightful owners.- If you commission me, you agree that this artwork is for personal use only.- You must credit and link back to me if possible.- For commercial use, please discuss your budget as well as plans for the image’s use with me directly.
You may use the commission in the following situations:
- You may print the work for personal use.- You may crop and/or resize the image for use as an avatar, header, video thumbnail, etc. (with proper credit given)- You may use the artwork as reference for a study.- You may post the artwork on social media (with proper credit given/tagged me)
You may NOT use or edit the commission in the following ways:
- You may not claim you drew the artwork. All credit must be given to myself as the original artist.- You may not remove my watermarks.- You may not paint over or otherwise alter the artwork- You may not use the artwork for redistribution or external projects.- You may not reproduce my art as charms, buttons, etc. (Please ask me for this service). Only personal print.- You do not have the right to sell or make any profit from my artwork.- My art may NOT be used for artificial intelligence (AI) training or usage on any programs or mediums (such as forums, image boards, etc) to train AI programs (such as dall-e, stable diffusion, etc).- My art may NOT be ran through AI services to be edited or altered.- My art may NOT be used for non fungible tokens (NFT) usage.- You may not reproduce the commission commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
VII. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
- If you need to cancel, a partial refund will be given based on the amount of work I have done.- I can cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time at my discretion.
Please DO NOT issue a charge-back for any reason. Purposefully issuing a charge-back without contacting me to cancel/refund a project will get you blacklisted.
VIII. WHAT YOU RECEIVE
After I finish, you will receive:
- The full size jpg artwork with watermarks.- You will also receive a “posting” appropriate size image to use to post on social media.- Print ready file if applicable
If you wish for the PSD you will get a significantly reduced in size PSD file for additional charge. This can be discussed within our emails.

Hi, I’m Cynthia, although I like to go by Syn! I’m a Viet-Hmong-Lao American artist.I’m a HUUUUGE fandom person. I love fandom and when I get into a fandom I GET INTO IT. It’s one of the things that brings me so much joy in life and brought me to meet a lot of amazing people! (I met my co-writer through fandom!)I LOVE to design merch to help connect passionate fans with other passionate fans. I love making designs that people can still wear in public or work without being distracting- but if you know, you know. Subtle merch is what a lot of my customers call it and I often get told that they feel good wearing my items in public.I also love drawing illustrations that go “whoosh” if you get what I mean. I think you can get the idea if you see what I have in the gallery! I love creating dynamic and thoughtful illustrations that will look good on a cover or maybe for promotional use!
